CliniCloud Kit Offers Checkups From Home

Feb-16-15 The CliniCloud kit makes home healthcare even more precise by offering a smartphone-connected, digital stethoscope and non-contact thermometer combination for at-home checkups.

The digital stethoscope connects to the smartphone with a USB cable, while the thermometer is completely wireless, relying instead on Bluetooth to transmit the data to the phone. The readings from both devices are integrated into a single app, where they can be stored on the phone or in the cloud. The app also includes reference metrics to help the home user determine if anything is worthy of concern as well as placement information for using the stethoscope.

CliniCloud has partnered with Doctor On Demand, which allows users to video-chat with a physician in real time.
