Cosmos Telescope Finds the Stars for You

Cosmos Telescope Finds the Stars for You

The WiFi-equipped Celestron Cosmos 90 GT is the first of its kind marketed for amateurs astronomers, and makes star-gazing easier than ever.

Developed by Focus Camera, the Celestron Cosmos 90 GT works with a smartphone app to automatically position itself to point at any selected celestial body. The user aligns the telescope by pointing it at any three bright bodies in the sky, which allows the scope to triangulate its position. Once its location has been identified, the telescope can be controlled by using an iOS or Android device to access the COSMOS database and choose one of 120,000 specific celestial bodies. Motors in the telescope's base will then position it to point at the selected object in a matter of seconds.
