Originally developed to help concoct a consistent and pleasant cup of chai tea, the center of the Craftea kettle features a magnetically-coupled stirring device. As the kettle is heated inductively via its bottom half, the stirring motion pulls the heat from the walls to distribute it faster without destroying the ingredients. This "vortex technology" also helps prevent boil-overs and prevent scorching when making milk-based teas.
