Cyclean Strap Cleans Up Public Transportation

Cyclean Strap Cleans Up Public Transportation
Mar-22-14
The Cyclean strap concept is designed to reduce the transfer of germs on public transportation by disinfecting the strap handles with a built-in cleaning system.

The cleaning system for the strap handles consists of a small chamber equipped with a rough sponge, cleaning and disinfecting solution and rollers. The passenger can take charge of cleaning their strap by pulling one side of the loop through the chamber, where it is cleaned as it is fed through the rollers. The sponge and the cleaning agent can both be replaced or refilled as necessary.

The Cyclean won a Red Dot Design Award for 2014.

This is a great idea but being 5FT 1 my concern is for the customer is the roll going to keep moving when I am holding on. For example if the train starts moving I will then hold on more and if i jerk forward will more of the strap come out??
