The Cyclevision helmet gives cyclists eyes in the back of their head by streaming a rear view of the road to a handlebar-mounted smartphone.
The Cyclevision helmet is equipped with a pair of 1080p, rear-facing cameras that together are able to capture a 320 degree field of view, along with audio. That image is then streamed in real time to the smartphone, which allows the rider to check the traffic behind them without needing to turn their head. The helmet’s battery can be charged via USB, and can provide up to five hours of non-stop recording.
