DelivAir Personalized Drone Delivery Concept

In development by the British firm Cambridge Consultants, the DelivAir concept would work with a smartphone app that allows customers to make delivery requests. The item would be loaded onto the drone, which would then use GPS to navigate to the customer’s location—based on their smartphone. Once in visual range, the drone would use optical and 3D tracking to verify the recipient and deliver the item via a small tether while the drone remains safely overhead.
