The Dodow promises to help the user fall asleep without medication, relying instead on the natural rhythm of breathing.
Developed by Livlab, the Dodow shines a light on the bedroom ceiling, which pulses in a gentle rhythm. By slowing their breathing to match the rhythm of the light (a calming six breaths per minute), the user will trigger their baroreflex mechanism, which the team claims brings the body into a “rest and digest” state.
I wonder if you could just play a video on your smartphone and have it projected onto the ceiling with a cardboard projector... It would be way less expensive. Posted by Anon ymous on September 1, 2017
