DoorBot Lets You See Who's There, Even if You're Not

DoorBot Lets You See Who's There, Even if You're Not
Dec-11-12
The DoorBot transforms a smartphone into a peephole, letting you see who’s at the door even if you’re not at home.

Currently seeking funding on the new crowd-sourcing platform ChristieStreet, the DoorBot is made of high-density polymer and includes an infrared camera able to capture video at both day and night. When visitor presses the LED illuminated push-to-talk button, the video and audio is sent via the local Wi-Fi connection to the user’s smartphone. The DoorBot can also be used with the Lockitron smartphone-based keyless entry system, allowing the users to admit the visitor to their home if desired.
