DoorJammer Adds Extra Security to Hotel Rooms

DoorJammer Adds Extra Security to Hotel Rooms
Jan-26-14
Developed with solo female travelers in mind, the DoorJammer offers a bit of extra security when staying in hotel rooms in rather ‘sketchy’ areas.

The DoorJammer is designed to be placed with its vertical surface pressing against the door and its horizontal base extending a bit beneath it. Once its hinged leg has been pulled down, the adjustable foot can be extended to allow it to brace itself securely against the floor. Anyone attempting to force the door open from the outside will simply create more vertical force against the DoorJammer’s foot, which will press it even more firmly against the floor.

The DoorJammer can be quickly and easily removed from the inside in the case of an emergency.

This is a great idea, and I can see it being very popular with travellers.
Could it be modified to prevent windows from being opened easily from outside? Accommodation rooms are often accessed by would-be thieves via windows that cannot be securely locked by the guest.
