DuoSkin Tattoos Control Connected Devices

DuoSkin Tattoos Control Connected Devices
Aug-13-16
The DuoSkin temporary tattoos from MIT Media Lab can be easily customized to let the wearer control their devices in different ways.

According to one of the designers, Cindy Hsin0Liu Kao, the DuoSkin tattoo design is based on the growing trend of metallic temporary tattoos, and is meant to be relatively inexpensive and easy for the average person to create. The tattoos are made out of gold leaf (which provides the conductivity) as well as standard crafting materials, and can be designed using a desktop graphics creation software. Once the basic tattoo shape has been determined, small electronic components, such as NFC chips, can then be added to complete the structure.
