The Earable wearable monitors core temperature to track the user’s overall well being.
The 3D-printed Earable was created by a team at the University of California, Berkeley, and fits in the ear to continuously monitor core temperature. The readings are sent via Bluetooth to a paired device, allowing the user or caregivers to track the information. The Earable can also function as a bone conduction hearing aid, which compensates for the loss of hearing that comes from wearing the device.
