Ebola Protective Suit is Worn by the Patient

Ebola Protective Suit is Worn by the Patient
Mar-17-15
In an inspired twist, researchers have developed a protective isolation suit meant to be worn by Ebola patient instead of the healthcare workers.

According to the development team, the biggest danger to healthcare workers in infectious environment occurs when they are taking off their suits. The patient isolation suit was developed to lower that risk.
Designed by the Renfrew Group International, the Patient Isolation suit creates a sealed environment around the patient that protects other people in the room from infection. The suit is equipped with tubes for fluid delivery, an air quality sensor alarm, temperature-controlled air flow, and a bag for collecting vomit that can be closed from the outside.
