Ehang 184 Personal Passenger Drone

Ehang 184 Personal Passenger Drone
Jan-07-16
Taking flying drones to the next level, the EHang 184 AAV is the first autonomous drone capable of carrying a human passenger.

Desinger and Ehang CEO Huazhi Hu began creating the Ehang 184 as a low-altitude flight alternative after two pilot friends were killed in plane crashes. The one-seater, electric quadcopter features an automated flight system that allows the passenger to program their flight with the installed touchscreen. The autopilot will not only manage the navigation and communication tasks, but also features a failsafe system that will take over in the case of malfunctions.

My congradulations to the team & my blessings too.. (I am a person nearing 60 years man !).. Well, I did conceptualise such a thing out of a single car (with four wheels) and which can fly at about three feet above ground - just to overcome the pot holes in Indian roads - even in metros !!! May be it is the same in china but I sincerely wish you have better roads. I also wanted the car to be like a boat which can float on water - as my city of chennai had a heavy rain due to which our city was flooded for about ten days.. again poor management by govt is responsible but one just cannot blame any one..

My car is ready in may mind but as a person with about 35 years of work as a production engineer in a few factories, I am a realist. I know it would take a heavy work by a team of youngsters to realise this.

You are such a team and of course you will succeed. Also it is time such a vehicle is a reality. Your goals are very high by today's standards but will be quite ordinary in a decade or two.

All the best wishes for the success of this team.
With Kind regards

This is the stuff that dreams are made from, congratulations on an invention that could change the world.
As a boy of forteen (now 71) I was and still am convinced a planets magnetic force can be used to propel a vehicle into space by it becoming 'like' to any planets gravitational force. In simple terms an object spins like to the earth and is rejected, just the same as two north or south pole magnets are forced apart
