The ultra-portable Elliot AED device from HeartHero weighs just over a pound and is small enough to slip in a purse.

The next-generation Elliot automatic external defibrillator was developed for the consumer market to make the life-saving devices more available. Small enough to be carried throughout the day, the AED device features easy operation with visual prompts, AI and a companion app, and is powered by common, store-bought batteries.

The Elliot device was recently awarded a win at the American College of Cardiology’s 68th annual conference. According to Dr. John Rumsfeld, Chief Innovation Officer at the American College of Cardiology. “It shows that HeartHero addresses a critical health problem, and is doing so with a truly novel medical device.”
