EyeLock Myris Makes Your Eye Your Password

EyeLock Myris Makes Your Eye Your Password
Jan-09-14
The EyeLock myris brings eye-scanning devices to consumers, allowing users to replace hackable passwords and access their secured accounts with their eye.

About the size of a computer mouse, the myris connects to the computer via a USB port. After an initial scan to record the user’s eye, the myris can be used to unlock passwords simply by looking at its scanner. It can support up to five users and is compatible with PC’s, Macs and Chromebooks. The device stores the ‘eye-dentity’ files within itself, and can only receive data from a live scan—making it impossible for a hacker to break.
