Fabrics that Fight Germs
Sep-21-09
iFyber has developed a technology that enables it to uniformly deposit nanocoatings on fabrics. Fabrics can simultaneously repel oil and water while preserving their air permeability and comfort, or can be coated with antibacterial properties for hospital bedding.

Military applications may include identifying leaks in chemical warfare suits, and creating antibacterial wound dressings and surgical sutures.
