FridgeCam Keeps on Eye on Fridge Contents

Sep-14-16 The FridgeCam makes grocery shopping easier by letting homeowners check an image of what is inside their refrigerator at the moment.

Developed by the UK company Smarter, the wide angle FridgeCam attaches to the inside of the fridge, where it will automatically take a photo every time the refrigerator door is opened. The image is sent to the Smarter cloud via WiFi, allowing the user to check the contents no matter where they are. The system can also be programmed to send push notifications if certain items are nearing their expiration dates, and the Smart Chef feature will even offer recipes based on the contents of the fridge.
