GermFalcon Airplane Sterilizer

GermFalcon Airplane Sterilizer
Mar-09-20
GermFalcon is a new machine that uses ultraviolet light to wipe out coronavirus and other germs inside an airplane.

It uses mercury lamps to bathe the airplane cabin, bathrooms, and galley in ultraviolet-C light which the company claims can wipe out flu viruses in an entire narrow-body plane in about three minutes.

They abandoned using a robotic approach after a year of testing and now rely on human manipulation to guide the machine down the airplane aisles.

Although Dimer UVC hasn't been tested on COVID-19, the creators expect it will be similarly effective as on other influenza strains.
