The GlidArc reactor can create ultra-clean fuels using the same process that illuminates big-screen plasma TVs.
A "gliding arc of electricity" produces a plasma within the reactor, which allows chemical reactions to take place at much lower temperatures.
One such reaction is the gasification of locally-available waste or biomass. The resulting clean mix of carbon monoxide and hydrogen gas can then be synthesized into biofuel.
