Slightly resembling a flexible chainsaw, the Guardian S snakebot was developed to traverse almost any terrain, gathering data with its array of sensors. The waterproof bot can travel through spaces as small as five inches, and can move through pipes, climb up walls, and even crawl up stairs. This dexterity is due to the robot’s design, which features both front and rear tracks as well as an articulated center.
