HandyCase Adds a Touchscreen to the Back of Mobile Devices

HandyCase Adds a Touchscreen to the Back of Mobile Devices
Oct-16-15
The HandyCase adds a touchscreen control to the back of an iPad or iPhone, allowing users to operate their device from the back panel while also offering a fun, ‘transparent’ view.

Created by the startup HandScape, the HandyCase uses the company’s patented technology to sense the placement of the user’s fingers on the case and transmit that data via Bluetooth. The system does not rely on cameras or infrared, and the high resolution sensor can detect up to ten contact points for touch interaction. The system also includes a selection of apps that create a sort of x-ray vision, allowing the user to ‘see’ their hands through the screen.
