Happaratus Bionic Sculpting Glove

Jun-30-15 Designed with sculptors in mind, the Happaratus bionic glove turns the artist’s hand into a powerful tool able to shape clay, wood, or even stone.

Created as a concept for a graduation project, the bionic carving glove features three fingers fitted with different filing heads. By applying one of the filing heads to the material and applying the desired pressure, the artist can carve away at the material to the desired depth. Designer Morten Grønning hopes that since the Happaratus glove can be fitted with different sculpting tips, it will find applications in finalizing 3D-printed designs.
