The Hisy works with the iPhone’s existing camera app to let the user take a ‘selfie’ portrait without having to press the shutter button on the phone—eliminating the need for awkward contortions.
The Hisy can function as a remote shutter to record both images and video, and communicates with the user’s iPhone via Bluetooth. It has a range of up to 90 feet and a battery life equivalent to two years of taking 100 shots per day, which should be enough for even the most devoted selfie-snapper. Unlike similar devices, the Hisy works with the default iOS camera app, and so does not require a third-party app to operate.
