Hyundai Unveils Fingerprint Entry for Vehicles

Jan-01-19 Hyundai will take keyless entry to their cars a step further with their upcoming fingerprint entry system.

According to the company, the new 2019 Santa Fe SUV will replace door and ignition keys with a fingerprint sensor on the door handles and dashboard. Along with allowing entry to specified people, the fingerprint sensor system will also enable the car to automatically adjust to setting preferences, such as seat and side mirror positions. The system will also be updated constantly for maximum security, and is claimed to be five times more securely effective than traditional keys and smart keys.
