Imprint Bicycle Grip Molds for Custom Fit

Jan-05-14 The Imprint Grips provide bicycle riders with a quick, custom fit by instantly molding to fit the shape of the rider’s hands.

Already exceeding its funding goal on Kickstarter, the grips can be chosen with either a polymer or aluminum sleeve encasing the molding material. The material is shaped by placing the grip in hot water, cooling it briefly in cold water, and then squeezing the material to mold it into a custom fit. Another dip in cold water sets the material in place. The grip is also wrapped in a mesh during the process, which is removed after the grip has been mounted on the handlebars to reveal a diamond textured surface.

The custom grip provides more contact to the rider’s hands, increasing stability and comfort, and can be reshaped if desired.
