Infinity 3D Printing Filament Washes Away with Water

Infinity 3D Printing Filament Washes Away with Water
Jul-14-15
Complex 3D printing just got even easier with the advent of a water-soluble filament that can be used to provide temporary support to 3D-printed structures.

Often, printing complicated 3D objects requires a secondary support structure that is meant to be detached and discarded once the creation is complete. However, these supports are often difficult to remove. Designed to work with 3D Systems Cube and CubePro printers, the non-toxic Infinity filament can be dissolved using regular water (other versions rely on a chemical bath). Since no chemicals are involved, the material is safer to use dispose of, and can be washed down the drain.
