Infinity Burial Suit

Aug-01-11 The Infinity Burial Suit was created by visual artist Jae Rhim Lee in a effort to encourage death acceptance as well as develop a natural burial system.

The prototype suit is embroidered with a netting infused with mushroom spores that works in conjunction with a spore slurry embalming mixture to break down the organic matter in the body as well as clean out the accumulated toxins and produce a nutrient rich compost. The goal of the project is to develop a natural burial system that can facilitate decomposition and deliver nutrients to the surrounding plants.
