Interactive Cooktop Allows Cook Space Personalization

Interactive Cooktop Allows Cook Space Personalization
Jan-14-14
Whirlpool’s New Interactive Cooktop lets users personalize their cook space and display a recipe directly on their cooking surface.

The cooktop, demonstrated at this year’s CES, allows the user to customize the cooking surface to suit different cookware, and then ‘erase’ the surface to set a new arrangement as needed. The user can also control the heat of the different burners, access recipes and emails and choose their favorite cooking tunes without needing to step away from the stove.

Whirlpool estimates the cooktop could become commercially available in the next five to ten years.
