The Kiwi Move expands the horizons of wearable sensors, and can be programmed to handle wide range of tasks.
The Move is equipped with an accelerometer, gyroscope, magnetometer, barometer, thermometer and microphone as well as 2 GB of storage and Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity. Because its functions are not pre-set, the Kiwi can be programmed by the user with “when/do” statements to recognize gestures or certain conditions, and then react accordingly. Some examples of its uses include identifying a song from a gesture command, functioning as a game controller or keeping track of spending habits.
Currently, the Move is being made available only for developers and early adopters in order to determine just how many uses can be created for it.
