Auto-injectors are used by patients with conditions such as multiple sclerosis and rheumatoid arthritis, but they can be complicated to use, requiring refrigeration and warming before injection. To help simplify the process, the Klarus functions as a sort of miniature refrigerator for the injector, storing the medicine cartridge and then warming it automatically at the assigned time.
