Kuiu Ultralight Carbon-Frame Backpack

Jul-03-16 Designed for serious backpackers, the Kuiu ultralight backpacking systems can carry up to 150 pounds comfortably and reliably.

The new line of packs, which includes the Ultra and Icon systems, features a frame made of spread tow carbon fiber, which the developers claim will not warp and is stronger than steel. Kuiu also designed a suspension system for the backs that distributes the weight more evenly, while also eliminating the contact point at the middle of the back—improving airflow.

Although there are several ultra-lightweight packs on the market, the new line from Kuiu tops them with carrying capacity and the ability to swap different sized packs.
