Linkcase Boosts iPhone Reception

Mar-07-13 The Linkase for iPhone is a signal-enhancing case, boosting WiFi reception up to 50 percent.

Created by Absolute Technology, the back of the case features a slide out EMW (electro magnetic waveguide) element able to resonate with the phone’s antenna to capture WiFi signals from all directions. Because the EMW slides out to extend past the phone, the risk of the user’s hand blocking the signal is reduced. According to the developers, download speeds of devices using the Linkcase were increased and the Linkase-equipped phones were able to connect in locations not possible before.
