Perhaps the first intelligent smartphone case, the Lunecase for iPhones displays its LED notifications using the power of electromagnetic energy.Powered by the electromagnetic energy that electronic devices emit in very small amounts, the Lunecase is wireless and battery-free. Once it has been snapped onto the back of the phone, it is able to identify a message or phone call before it is displayed on the phone's screen. LED lights embedded in the case will flash to let the user know they have received a message as well as indicate whether it is a text or call.
The Lunecase has already doubled its funding goal on Kickstarter.
