The sensors, electronics and GPS for the Misano 1000 D system are contained within the device itself, with no need for external sensors on the cycle. Six sensors in the back of the unit monitor the force vectors on the body at 800 times a second, which allows for precise air bag launch. The system communicates with a patented 3D airbag equipped with a micro-filament for even inflation, and inflation time is automatically determined by the type of impact—such a frontal or high-sides.
