Mobility Vision Merges Cars and Homes

Mobility Vision Merges Cars and Homes
Jan-15-17
The innovative Mobility Vision from Hyundai would have us sharing our living space with our cars.

The Mobility Vision idea is based on the growing smart house technology, which merges mobile and living spaces. The concept features an area in the home into which the car would dock, extending the living space for entertainment or even transfer of energy.

The team envisions the homeowner moving seamlessly from car to home, as automated smart cars improve to the point that the rider may not even detect the motion of transport.

Perhaps Concept Van (31.12.2016) and Mobility Vision (15.1.2017) could be put together? The car fetches guests, couriers and goods indoors and security scans them. All outdoors activity accessories are stored near the car in separate cassettes. The car automatically removes unnecessary seats and loads necessary cassettes. If the system is standardized, this could be also a movable workstation.

Could this mobility vision still become reality, even in the near future? One possibility would be a new silicon valley, where the whole infrastructure is built based on this kind of a car. An even simpler prototype would be a new holiday resort, where lodging, activities and services are integrated with this car.

The ending comment in the video says it all, "Remarkably cool". I wonder when we will be able to order one.

Perhaps Mobility Vision (Jan-15-17) and Adaptable Carriage (May-18-17) could be put together? E-cars would be loaded during transport.

Mobility Vision (Jan-15-17) and Magway (Nov-20-19) together would transfer both people and parcels inside and between city buildings, even gastight. In some premises it could replace both elevators and escalators.
