Mosquito Killer Billboard

Mosquito Killer Billboard
Apr-22-16
The Mosquito Killer Billboard could help fight the Zika virus by luring mosquitoes from as far as 1.5 miles away into a deadly trap.

Created by a pair of Brazilian ad agencies, the billboard attracts the mosquitoes by emitting a mixture of carbon dioxide and lactic acid solution, which mimics the human breath. The mosquitos become trapped in the display, and die within its transparent walls. At night, the billboard can be illuminated to increase its attractive qualities.
