The MTT-136 puts the power of sled dogs at your command—charging through a variety of conditions, including snow and mud, to tow cargo at speeds up to 24 miles per hour.
Developed by Yvon Martel, the electric MTT-136 (My Track Technology) weighs about 280 pounds and has a battery life between 15 minutes and eight hours, depending upon the configuration of the batteries. A specialized handlebar system allows the driver to control the sled’s steering and speed, and its electric system can also function as a portable generator.
The MTT-136 is currently a working prototype, and Martel is actively seeking investors to help bring it to the market.
