Jan-08-15 The Netatmo Welcome connected security camera monitors individuals using face recognition—making it easier to keep track of who is in the house at any given time.

The Welcome is equipped with a 130 degree lens for wide-angle views, a microphone and an infrared LED for nighttime visitors. The device can be personalized to send a notification when a selected individual arrives at the house—such as a child returning home from school—or to only send a notification during specified times. The recorded videos and identity information are stored on the camera's local SD card, and access to the video via smartphone is securely encrypted.
