Being touted as the "opposite of Apple Watch," the Noodoe wearable was designed to be built and customized by the wearer.
The Noodoe, which looks like a simple band worn around the wrist, allows the user to add functions to it via a drag-and-drop smartphone interface and accompanying app. According to developer John Wang, anything that can be created on a smartphone can be transferred to the watch, including Photoshop images, and the device's "watch cloud" would let users share their creations with Noodoe owners. The Noodoe also boasts no tactile controls at all. Instead, the device's internal accelerometer allows it to be controlled entirely by gestures, such as flipping the wrist to reject a call.
As the company sums it up: "If Apple Watch were Barbie Doll, then Noodoe Watch would be LEGO."
