On-Demand Wind Energy

On-Demand Wind Energy
Dec-29-12
Apple has filed a patent on a wind turbine that generates power even when the wind isn't blowing.

According to the patent, the turbine generates electricity from the heat energy created by the rotation of the rotor shaft moving through “low-heat capacity fluid.” The heat energy can be transferred from the holding fluid to a working fluid, which is then boiled to create steam and power a turbine.

The new system differs from conventional systems in that it eliminates the need for batteries to store power and is not subject to variances in wind power, instead making wind power more available on-demand to provide a more constant, uninterrupted supply.

A friend has a mountain at Mattawa Ontario, Canada who is installing wind turbines for supply to the grid. In northern Ontario. There is a dam and he has approval from the Canadian government for further development. Approximately 12 turbines. His name is Todd Yule and also owns Encom HVAC in Mississauga, Ontario. You should contact him and discuss a joint venture. He would be open to your new product as described. He can be reached at the office most days. I do not have the contact phone numbers, but todd@encom. ca should reach him. It may be [email protected], not sure of which, but try both or source his office number.
Best Regards, Martin Swqns.
Say hi to Todd for me.
