A super simple cell phone developed for children and seniors sends an emergency call for help with the push of a single button.
Developed by Softbank, the device can be programmed to call parents, or any other designated emergency contact, and sends an email with GPS data pinpointing the caller's location. In addition, pulling the attached string emits an audible alarm, which can help responders locate the person in need of help.
While similar to Life Line and other auto-calling aid alarms, the phone can be used anywhere, and is not limited to a sensor in the home.
