OX Flat-Pack Truck

OX Flat-Pack Truck
Sep-07-16
The world’s first flat-pack truck, the OX all-terrain vehicle can be airlifted and delivered to disaster areas.

Developed by Global Vehicle Trust, which was founded by Sir Torquil Norman to create a low-cost, all-terrain vehicle, the OX can be flat-packed for delivery, and then assembled on site by hired professionals in about twelve hours. The OX trucks are able to carry loads up to 4000 pounds and three passengers, with the driver seated in the middle of the cab both for optimal weight distribution and to compensate for varying traffic rules.

The OX is still in the prototype phase, but Norman hopes to one day see the trucks in use all over Africa.
