Pedal Power Harnesses Human Energy

Pedal Power Harnesses Human Energy
Nov-19-13
The Pedal Power system takes advantage of the efficiency of bicycles to use human-generated energy to power electronic devices.

Already exceeding its funding goal on Kickstarter, the Pedal Power line includes two models: the larger Big Rig, with a built-in seat, work surface and battery; and the smaller Pedal Genny, which has no work surface but is more portable and less expensive. According to the developers, an average adult pedaling the Big Rig should be able to create enough energy to power a laptop, as well as grind grains, operate an air compressor or pump five gallons of water per minute.
