Philips HealWell System Mimics the Natural Light Cycle

Dec-22-16 Designed for hospitals, the LED-based Philips HealWell system mimics the natural light of the changing day to help increase patient comfort.

The third generation HealWell system from Philips boasts many of the features of earlier models, and introduces an array of tunable, white LEDs. The system also includes the Philips Color Kinetics Color Cove, which provides downlighting around the room’s walls and in recessed areas. These two systems in combination provide a realistic approximation of the natural light cycle, and the entire array is controlled by a revised Philips Dynalight management system, which offers more adjustment flexibility as well as energy modeling.
