Photon Space House Lets in Light for Health

Dec-02-14 Designed for better living, the glass walls of the Photon Space house let in a flood of natural light.

Developed based on research and our understanding of the importance of adequate sunlight, the pop-up Photon Space house is made from curved, double-glazed glass walls that admit natural light while blocking harmful solar radiation, UV light and sound. The glass walls can be darkened via a smartphone app when the residents seek a bit of privacy.

A single house can be constructed in four weeks, and its steel frame and light footprint allow it to be installed in a variety of spaces, including on top of a roof or for use as a visitor center, office or café.
