Planting Flowers with a Shotgun

Planting Flowers with a Shotgun
Dec-21-13
Loaded with flower seeds instead of lead shot, the Flower Shell was designed to re-imagine gardening and our use of guns.

Created by Per Cromwell of the Swedish design company Studio Total, the Flower Shell idea came about during a day of weeding, seeding and cutting. Cromwell adjusted the amount of gunpower in standard, 12-gauge shotgun shells and added flower seeds such as sweet pea, lavender and daisy, which he determined could survive, and thrive, from the unorthodox planting. The project has already been successfully funding on Indiegogo.

The ST lab is also responsible for innovations such as the iRock, Fly Lamp and No More Woof.
