Mar-18-16 The ProteXsure Safety Capsule System helps prevent accidental needle-sticks by placing a protective covering over the tip of the needle.

Developed by Phoenix Healthcare Solutions and recently receiving the CE Mark for clearance in Europe, the ProteXsure Safety Capsule System is compatible with almost any needle. After the syringe has been used, the clinician simply inserts the needle into a hole in the device, where an internal mechanism will attach a protective cap onto the needle. The original needle cap can then be placed back on the syringe without risk of accidental needle sticks.
