Pump Tube Self Inflates for Consistent Presure

Pump Tube Self Inflates for Consistent Presure
Dec-15-15
The Pump Tube keeps itself inflated by drawing in air as the wheel spins, helping to keep the tire’s pressure consistent despite seepage and pinhole leaks.

Created by Benjamin Krempel, who also developed the Pump Tire prototype, the Pump Tube would draw in air via a one-way valve on the valve stem. The air would then travel to the pumping mechanism, which wraps around the tire and compresses as the wheel rotates. This compression sends the air into the inner tube, keeping the tire consistently at the proper inflation.
