The Quartz water bottle invention keeps itself—and its cargo of water—clean with UV light.The Quartz bottle is equipped with an internal UV-C LED unit that will kill 99.99 percent of harmful bacteria and viruses via a photochemical reaction. The LED will illuminate automatically every four hours to keep the bottle clean, and can also be triggered manually as needed. A single charge will power the Quartz bottle for about three months, with no replacement batteries or filters required.
