Relaxis Pad Eases Restless Leg Syndrome with Vibrations

Relaxis Pad Eases Restless Leg Syndrome with Vibrations
Jun-03-14
Sufferers of restless leg syndrome may soon find some relief with the Relaxis Pad, the first non-drug option to be approved by the FDA.

Developed by Sensory Medical, the Relaxis Pad was created to allow RLS sufferers to relieve their symptoms without having to get out of bed and move about. The prescription-only, pillow-like device is designed to fit comfortably beneath the user's legs, where it disrupts the symptom of RLS using specifically-tuned vibrations. It is designed to work semi-automatically, vibrating for 30 minutes and gradually ramping down until it turns itself off without disturbing the user, and can be used as often as is needed.

Can you please let me know if Relaxis is available in Australia, and will it be government approved, and included on the Australian PBS....thankyou any information would be helpful, I am a chronic sufferer of restless legs, and a pensioner. I have always thought that vibration would offset the unbearable feeling of restless legs, so glad this product has been manufactured....might even be better if the pad actually wrapped around each leg individually. Thankyou, please help.....Tania
